Summer Fridays, Vol 13.

Today is the last summer fridays post for 2020! It’s been a wacky summer but I’m so glad we kept the summer fridays tradition going. Thanks for being here!

EATING

My September kale salad. This is one of my favorite salads of all time. It’s a mix of late summer and super early fall produce (hello apples) and the flavor and texture can’t be beat.

DRINKING

September sangria!! It is TIME!

MAKING

A hot dog bar for the unofficial summer send off. What are you favorite toppings?

BAKING

These oatmeal baked apples. Have I mentioned how much I love apple season? Okay I’ll stop.

CRAVING

My salted honeycrisp fritters. These are unreal. I’m going to make them over on instagram today too!

One to Watch! It’s our September book club pick. Loving it!

LOVING

Merritt’s fall capsule wardrobe. I look forward to these every season. Merritt’s style is incredible and timeless, and I also find that she shares such great neutral things that no matter what kind of style you love, her capsule helps. The amount of work she puts into this has to be crazy and I appreciate it so, so much! She also makes an actual capsule wardrobe seem doable to me.

PLANNING

I have the rest of the year’s recipes planned out (if you’ve been reading a while, then you know I work about a month or so ahead) and it feels amazing! It’s probably contributed to my fall feelings. Anything specific you’d like to see, aside from TONS of easy weeknight dinners?!

BURNING

This harvest candle from Target. It makes the entire house smell fantastic!

SHARING

A new video for the zucchini lasagna bolognese! If you haven’t made it yet, it is so wonderful. Definitely my favorite summer meal!
