Surely we all have at least one person in our lives that seems to have... absolutely everything. When they host a gathering, you realize they’ve procured the least-stuffy napkin rings in existence. When you mention a brand new ingenious kitchen tool, they’ve long been in the know. And they always have the most useful, expert recommendations for things to buy.
As joyful as it is to know this unique subset, coming up with something to gift them feels like a near-impossible task. The questions I usually run through when looking are: Is this something they’d pick out for themselves? Conversely, is this something they’d want but possibly not buy for themselves? And, would they really use this?
